Marie, the daughter of the head maid at the Torsche Mansion, especially cares for Catherine, the doll that Dr. Torsche made to replace his dead daughter. It may have been due to sympathy from having seen Catherine up close for so long, but the two became closer and relied on each other as they experienced many things. Even though the doll and the maid are of different origins and social status, they are each stunning young ladies with their own unique charm. Should either of them get into trouble, the other will not stand by.
