    Standard conversation
    1. I'm not particularly interested in doing things for a cause or moral purpose. I'm not really interested in helping others either. It's not fun.
    2. Pioneering work is different from relief work. It's like fighting on the front lines.
    3. This is the unexplored area, where Mertis can unleash his full magical power.
    ✓ Persuaded

“Oh, I see… Anyway, now that we’re one family, I ask for your help…!”

    ✕ Refused

“That's too bad. If you change your mind later, please let me know. I'll be back to see you.”

    1. Hello? Are you looking for me?
    2. Hello! I heard about Mertis. She's truly beautiful, just as rumored.
    3. It must be fate that we're able to meet like this, right? If it weren't for fate, we'd never have met!
    4. Of course! Everyone in this world is born with a connection called fate. Among them, Mertis's connection was tied to me.
    5. Since we've already met, how about joining me? I need someone to fight alongside, and more than anything, I'm interested in you, Mertis!
    ✓ Persuaded

“Ugh… What nonsense… Anyway, since our relationship has continued, please take good care of me!”

    ✕ Refused

“I'm sorry you feel that way. But I'm sure you'll change your mind someday. When that happens, I'll be sure to come back!”

    1. Hmm? Who is this kid?
    2. A witch? Hehe... Who knew there were witches this young... I'd have to live a long life to see this. She's so cute, I could die~
    3. Huh, I know I'm cute. But you're a witch too, aren't you? I can tell just by looking at you. You give off a suspicious vibe.
    ✓ Persuaded

“Yeah, do as you please, kid. You're so stubborn, I don't think you'll listen even if I try to stop you.”

“That won't happen! I'm incredibly strong! You better be careful not to do anything stupid! I'll be following you relentlessly and keeping an eye on you!”

    ✕ Refused

“Stop your nonsense and go back, kid. I don't have enough free time to play with you.”

“If you don't go back when I say nice things to you, I won't stay still either... Hehe.”

    1. Isn't that a familiar face?
    2. Huh? You know me? I don't know you!
    3. Hehehe… Well, not you, but I know someone who looks exactly like you… So what’s the matter, kid?
    4. And something... I feel a very, very strange energy! I think it would be fun to be with you!
    ✓ Persuaded

“Haha... Okay. This looks like it'll be fun. At least it won't be boring.”

    ✕ Refused

“No. Sorry, but you misjudged me. I'm a very, very bad person... Hehe.”

“What? Really? No way... This is weird! I'll have to come back later and take a closer look...”
